Amit Bhatiani

Amit is Co-Founder and Partner of Canopy Group, a multi-strategy investment firm that operates and/or partners with direct investment platforms across Asia. Amit co-founded and was a partner of the CX Partners since 2008 where he led several successful investments for both the CX Growth Fund and CX Intermediate Capital Fund. Prior to co-founding CX, Amit was a partner at Duma Capital, a global investment partnership founded by principals from Soros Fund Management and Duquesne Capital Management. Prior to Duma, Amit was a portfolio manager at the Clinton Group for the distressed and event-driven portfolio. Amit has also co-founded three technology companies (PressPlay, Invertica & SanVision Technology). Amit started his career in the trading technology group at JPMorgan. He holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School (highest honors) and a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
