Javier Rodriguez Zapatero

Javier Rodríguez Zapatero, who has been Managing Director of Google Spain and Portugal for 8 and a half years, announces his departure from the company. In these years, Rodríguez Zapatero has developed Google Spain in a spectacular way, being recognized as one of the best subsidiaries of Google Europe. In addition, throughout this stage, he has temporarily combined this task with the general management of Italy, Turkey and the Middle East. During his address Google has developed its commercial offer through YouTube, has decidedly committed to advertising through mobile and has worked conscientiously to implement the acquisition of digital skills, both at the company level and individuals, with the aim that Spanish society has a relevant digital maturity level. Javier Rodríguez Zapatero helped found ISDI, the first native digital business school, 7 years ago, together with other leading digital professionals from our country.
