Frédéric Tardy is CEO of L'Atelier (US), the BNP Paribas Innovation Lab in Silicon Valley defining and implementing on-line strategies for the different business units, strategic partners and VIP clients of BNP-Paribas in North America, Latin America and Europe. He has been helping global companies get up to speed in social media, social commerce and social gaming, leading them into the digital 21st century (L'Oréal, Chanel, Veolia, Saint Gobain, Pages Jaunes, Total, Richemont, Pernod Ricard, Danone). His career in the field of Digital began in 1993 at Cetelem as Direct Marketing Manager (Minitel, videotext online service). He worked in the UK as Head of Operations for Halifax Consumer Finance JV and in Spain as BNP Paribas Personal Finance Board Member. He ran the mobile and Internet strategy of BNP Paribas Personal Finance in 30 countries (Europe, America, Asia). He set up global partnerships with Internet leaders such as PayPal, Dell, Submarino (in Brazil)… Frédéric has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from ESCAE. It's from the recording studio installed in San Francisco that he brings the newest trends of Silicon Valley to the weekly program the Atelier Numérique broadcast on BFM radio, as well as in weekly articles for Les Echos (major French economic newspaper). In addition, in a weekly web TV show (FrenchWeb), he comments on the latest start ups being developed in Silicon Valley. He gives courses at HEC (leading French Business School) on US digital disruption and mentors Latin American start ups at Endeavor.org (which promotes high impact entrepreneurs around the world). He wrote “la République des Réseaux” published at Fayard editor in 2012.
