Founder and CEO, Star Capital; Founder and Managing Director, Starlight Ventures. Star Capital is thesis-driven private investment office. In addition to public markets, the firm deploys capital into companies involved in natural resources, real estate projects in several geographies and through Starlight Ventures, into emerging technology projects. Starlight Ventures is a venture capital firm designed to address humanity's greatest challenges and opportunities. The firm invests early in the brightest entrepreneurs using science and technology breakthroughs to achieve progress at scale. Previously, as an entrepreneur, pioneered in the mid 90's the creation of several of the first Internet companies in Latin America. Matías holds a BA in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires.
