Gemma Hamilton

Gemma joined BGF in August 2013 as an Investment Manager and is based in its Edinburgh office. In this role, she is responsible for identifying and executing investments in the Central Belt. Gemma joined from Maven Capital Partners (formerly Aberdeen Asset Management), having worked in their Glasgow office since 2009. At Maven she was involved in executing and completing private equity transactions, including mezzanine finance to SMEs across Scotland and assisted with securing fund management mandates. Prior to this, Gemma trained and worked as a corporate solicitor at DLA Piper Scotland, where she was involved with private equity and M&A transactions. Gemma has an honours degree in Law from Edinburgh University.
