Andrew Chung

Andrew Chung is a Managing Director focused on U.S. real estate acquisition opportunities. He is based in New York City. Mr. Chung joined Carlyle in 2000 as an Associate and held positions as a Senior Associate, Vice President and Principal before taking on his current role as Managing Director in 2011. He has been involved with the acquisition, financing, management and disposition of more than $8 billion of U.S. real estate investments including the development projects Orion, a 60-story luxury residential building, Riverside Center, a joint venture with Extell Development, and office and retail tower 650 Madison Avenue. Mr. Chung received a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
