Mark Blackwell

Mark Blackwell is Chief Operating Officer at GNS3, which is a leading company that provides a virtual environment to design & optimize networks of any size without the need for physical hardware infrastructure. Most recently he was an Investment Manager within Cenovus Energy’s corporate venture fund. While at Cenovus Mark made two investment in HiFi Engineering (Series-B) and Skyonic (Series-C) and was a Board Observer with both. Mark also worked in the technology investment banking division at CIBC World Markets in Calgary. During his time at university, Mark received the Order of the University of Calgary and the Alumni Association's Future Alumni Award. He was also named a Top 20 Compelling Calgarian by the Calgary Herald and a Canada Top 20 Under 20.
