Bijai Jayarajan is an entrepreneur who lives and works between Singapore and Mumbai. Bijai is the Founder & CEO of Houm Technology Singapore Pte. Ltd. Houm Technology is headquartered in Singapore, with a subsidiary in the United States and tech development centre in India. Houm Technology is established with a vision to bring back privacy on the internet, via the revolutionary concept of ‘private ownership of the internet by the end consumer’. Houm Technology enables each consumer to build and own a digital home on the internet – a piece of the internet you personally own, where you can keep your private data actually private. Houm Technology’s mission is to build a few billion digital homes on the internet that are owned and accessed only by the respective owners, thus getting privacy back on the internet. Prior to this, Bijai founded Loylty Rewardz Mngt Pvt Ltd in 2008, and worked as its Founder CEO for ten years, and grew it into India’s largest consumer relationship management company. In 2017, Loylty Rewardz was acquired at a valuation of about USD 100 million by BillDesk, India’s #1 bill payments company (www.billdesk.com), whose investors include General Atlantic, Temasek, TA Associates and Visa Inc. At the time of Bijai’s exit, Loylty Rewardz managed the loyalty program for over one billion consumer profiles in India, processing over 200 million transactions and awarding over 2.5 billion loyalty points monthly. Bijai raised over USD 30 million of venture capital investment into Loylty Rewardz, and eventually gave his VC investors VenturEast and Canaan Partners a multi-bagger exit. Prior to founding Loylty Rewardz, Bijai worked with MasterCard Worldwide as the Head of MasterCard’s relationship with the largest bank in India - the State Bank Group, and with Jet Airways India Pvt. Ltd. as the head of its frequent flyer loyalty program - Jet Privilege. Bijai is also a non-executive member of the Board of Directors of Vikalp India Private Limited, a school education-focused start-up based in Delhi that is working with hundreds of schools in Jharkhand, Bihar, Karnataka, New Delhi, Punjab and Maharashtra. Bijai graduated as part of the Founding Class of the Indian School of Business (ISB) in Hyderabad.
