I've had a pretty varied career as a founder, investor, product manager, and journalist, but nearly all of that has been in the fintech and crypto ecosystems. I'm currently the managing general partner of Vol. 1 Ventures, a pre-seed fund focused on fintech and crypto startups. Before starting Vol. 1 Ventures, I spent a few years building Fintech Today—a content and community company for fintech and crypto operators and founders. While investing is my full time job, I'm a builder at heart—I love working on complex financial problems that can be solved by technology. I first got into fintech after spending a little time in mortgage backed securities after college.
