As co‑founder and UK Managing Director James leads the UK business and is responsible for overseeing the overall strategic direction and day‑to‑day operation of Funding Circle in the UK. James co‑founded Funding Circle in the UK in 2010 after seeing how difficult it was for small businesses to access funding and wanting to build something better. Prior to Funding Circle James was at OC&C Strategy Consultants where he advised companies on strategy and growth across the retail, media and services sectors. James has a first class Economics and Management degree from Oxford University.
