Serene Papenfuss

Serene is passionate about working with entrepreneurs, and spends most of her time with SaaS and marketplace startups. Prior to Kickstart, she worked at Susquehanna Growth Equity, a growth-stage B2B tech fund. Serene helped build SGE's Portfolio Value Creation team, a function dedicated to accelerating portfolio company growth. In this capacity, she worked primarily on strategy and go-to-market initiatives to scale revenue, boost retention, and more. Previously, she worked as a management consultant at Cicero Group on growth and transformation strategy.Serene is from Tokyo and fluent in Japanese. She is a Boston-qualified marathon runner and enjoys food, reading, drawing, and traveling.
