I started Resurge (previously known as Unity Investor Strategies) after an 18-year career as an analyst and portfolio manager at some of the most prominent investment firms on Wall Street. I saw a niche opportunity to help public companies better understand their institutional investors and bridge the misunderstanding gap. My time on the Street has provided me with unique insights into how these funds operate and I deliver this to my clients. I also worked several years in-house as the SVP of Finance, Corporate Development, and Investor Relations, at a $5 billion software company, so I approach IR consulting with perspectives from both sides of the table. I possess a deep understanding of the processes, tools, and methods institutional investors and sell-side analysts use in their analyses. My investment research career began as a research associate at Morgan Stanley. Later on, I held senior leadership positions at several prominent investment firms including, Calixto Global, Andor Capital, Aurarian Capital, SAC Capital Advisors, and Pequot Capital. I hold a B.S. in Commerce from The University of Virginia and I am also a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI), and American Mensa. The work I do at Resurge brings companies and shareholders closer together and yields better outcomes for all parties involved. CEOs and CFOs suddenly begin telling their companies’ stories in ways that investors can digest and analyze – driving out valuation discrepancies that exist from investor confusion.
