Lindsay Lee

Lindsay Lee is the Founder and Managing Partner of Authentic Ventures. Authentic Ventures is a new kind of venture firm focused primarily on women and underrepresented minority founders. Traditional venture firms use long established social and professional networks to vet and screen investments. Authentic Ventures is building its own elite network of company builders to assist in the sourcing, vetting and support of its companies. Lindsay has been an investor in technology for almost 15 years (through 3 market cycles) in various capacities. Lindsay started his career in investment banking. Immediately following graduate school at Stanford, he co-founded a financial services software company. He then went on to serve as CIO for a fund of funds he helped to grow to almost $1B. He then started a small direct investment fund that invested primarily in public technology companies. Lindsay has developed a very strong network founders, operating executives, advisors and investors over the last 20 years. Lindsay received his BA in Economics from the University of Florida. Lindsay holds J.D. and MBA degrees from Stanford University
