A native of Israel, Adam Milstein moved with his wife and children to the United States in 1981. There, he earned his MBA from USC in 1983. He entered the commercial real estate business as a sales agent and worked his way up to managing partner at the firm Hager Pacific Properties. Inspired by the charitable actions of a friend and colleague, Mr. Milstein realized that he needed to give back to his community - specifically, the Israeli-American community. Along with his wife, he founded the Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation and Sifriyat Pijama B'America to promote the unity of the Israeli-American community and nurture a stronger sense of Jewish identity among the children of first-generation Israeli-Americans. As co-founder of the Israeli-American Council, Mr. Milstein works to forge a tighter bond between the American Jewish community and the Israeli-American community. He and his wife live in Encino, CA, and have three daughters, two grandsons, and a granddaughter.
