Lindsay Rosenwald

Financial expert and physician Lindsay Rosenwald assists companies who have devoted their resources to advancing discoveries in technology and medicine. As a student at Abington Senior High School in Abington, Pennsylvania, Lindsay Rosenwald made the decision to pursue a business career. He enrolled at Penn State University in 1973, earning an Economy and Finance degree. Unafraid to chart a new course, Lindsay Rosenwald applied and was admitted to Temple University’s School of Medicine. After receiving his M.D. in 1983, Lindsay Rosenwald opened a private medical practice, then served as a financial analyst/medical doctor on Wall Street where he developed a number of key professional relationships that would drive his future success. By virtue of his broad knowledge base and core values, Lindsay Rosenwald founded and grew some of the most powerful biotechnology companies in the world. Leveraging numerous opportunities within the healthcare space, Lindsay Rosenwald established several highly successful companies that were later acquired by prominent pharmaceutical firms. In 2009, Johnson & Johnson acquired Rosenwald’s biotechnology company, Cougar Biotechnology. Rosenwald’s resume also includes a list of approximately one hundred FDA-approved drugs in the United States, along with many others approved in foreign countries. The drugs developed under the oversight of Lindsay Rosenwald include several designed to challenge major illnesses (influenza, fibromyalgia), autoimmune diseases (rheumatoid arthritis) and mental disorders (schizophrenia). In 2002, Lindsay Rosenwald achieved the leading position on “100 Molecular Millionaires,” an extensive list published by Genetic Engineering News.
