Coen van Duiven (1969) started his career at Unilever Investment Group, focussing on global capital and M&A projects. Part of this assignment was leading a start-up and expansion business in Russia. After having been Investment Director of a foods company in Madagascar, Africa, Coen returned to the Netherlands, as partner in a private equity firm. To be able to add even more (direct) value to the companies involved in, Coen decided to found henQ in 2004 with Herman, to experience along the way that working with young, ambitious & passionate entrepreneurs is really the most rewarding form of investing.
