Mizanur Rahman Sohel

Mizanur Rahman Sohel is head of online for the three-decade-old newspaper Bhorer Kagoj in the country. Before joining the position, Sohel had served the Daily Jugantor as head of online since August 1, 2017. During the last six years, Daily Jugantor has gained rank and revenue growth momentum from digital platforms. Journalist Mizan Sohel started his career with the Daily Bibrity in Pabna in 2004. He also served the Daily Ajker Pabna as executive editor. Sohel worked in several national newspapers—the Daily Jugantor, Daily Ittefaq, Weekly Robbar, and Priyo.com—over two decades of working experience with media. In his reporting, Sohel has covered information technology and telecommunications news. Mizanur Rahman Sohel has served the Bangladesh ICT Journalists Forum (BIJF), an organization of IT journalists in Bangladesh, for two terms since 2017. He writes books as well as journalism. He wrote 26 books on self-improvement, business, education, and information technology. His notable books are Hacking and Hacker and The 101 Ways to Success. He has written articles on recent topics and participated in television talk shows. Besides journalism, he had some success stories in different sectors. He is the founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Times PR, a top-rated Bangladeshi public relations agency. Times PR works jointly as a PR company in Bangladesh, the USA, and India. Times PR is already working with more than 250 local and international brands and making their value known globally. He likes to travel abroad. He started traveling abroad in 2011. He has already traveled to several countries, including the United States, France, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Singapore, China, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
