Joshua Sum

Joshua is a technology leader in the blockchain and AI space. In the blockchain space, he leads product at Solayer Labs building the world's first hardware accelerated blockchain for low-latency and high throughput decentralized applications. He also co-founded Socrates, the agent platform enabling anyone to build, configure, and maintain reliable and enterprise-ready AI agents easily in natural language. Joshua was an early employee and the first quant/product hire at Treehouse Finance, and worked closely with the founding team to build the first iterations of the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) portfolio management platform as they raised their $18m seed round. He has also previously co-founded prominent projects such as College DAO and 0xCatalyst which have grown to be notable talent and infrastructure providers in the industry. In the E-commerce and digital marketing space, Joshua previously founded GrowthFunnels, a digital agency that emerged during the pandemic in 2020, and since its founding, Joshua has worked with 6-9 figure revenue companies in the E-commerce, manufacturing, and financial services industries on their go-to-market, performance marketing and scaling strategies.
