Nari Choi

Nari Choi is a Principal at XSeed Capital, with broad expertise in strategic planning and management of innovative technologies. Prior to joining XSeed, Nari worked in the CTO Strategy Office at Samsung Group. As Chief Technology Strategist of the display and semiconductor businesses, she formulated action plans, developed long-term outlooks and identified business opportunities in emerging technologies. She also led the decision to invest the $500MM Corporate Research Fund to foster research in disruptive technologies. Nari managed Samsung’s future technologies portfolio, owning the entire process from establishing the portfolio to commercializing technologies. She managed the development of core inventions that strengthened the competitiveness of existing Samsung growth engines including semiconductors, display panels, digital media/imaging and telecommunications. In addition, she lead the incubation of new businesses in advanced materials, medical, energy and environmental domains.
