Founder and CEO of NCMR, we operate online healthcare and insurance media properties such as medicalrecords.com. Before moving to the startup world, I worked for some of the world’s greatest brands, such as Ford, IBM, Starwood and Mercedes Benz. I’m also an investor, advisor and consultant to a number of VC-backed startups and companies including DirectDerm, Amino Apps and Toscanini’s Ice Cream. I also had the opportunity to spend a number of years in the sports industry at the USTA / US Open and then at EXOS (acquired by Madrone Capital Partners in 2018), the world’s most elite athlete training operation. Having been part of consumer brands that have brought tens of millions of people together, I want to create long-term good in the world by giving back to the community. I’ve been a longtime judge for the Webby Awards and Harvard Business School Venture Competition. I’ve also been a top-ranked mentor at Founder Institute, a mentor at Blueprint Health and was active in building the Play  Labs accelerator/incubator for playful technology startups on the MIT campus, in conjunction with the MIT Game Lab (located at the MIT Media Lab). As a BU alum, I’m proud to be a mentor to their Spark program for computational and data-driven student projects as well as a member of BU’s Med-Tech / Physical Sciences Ignition Award committee to commercialize IP from faculty.
