Carrie Farrell

Carrie Farrell is a Partner for Talent and Operations at A.Capital Ventures. She joined Google Ventures in 2012, after more than 10 years at Google's Partnerships and Global People Operations groups. She oversaw partnerships for Google.org and also led a regional team to develop new staffing processes for Google. Carrie has led staffing and HR teams for Google in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Japan. She has been instrumental in hiring Google's key technologists, identifying and participating in acquisition targets, and opening new Google engineering offices globally. Carrie has spent more than 15 years working in the technology sector. She began her career at SRI International, working in project management for the robotics team. Carrie received her bachelor's degree in political science and urban planning from Cal Poly. She sits on the board of Equality California and also volunteers in her local community.
