Cory von Wallenstein is the CEO at Adored, a loyalty experience platform that is strengthening the relationships users have with the businesses they visit and brands they love. The Adored app uses iBeacon indoor location technology to automatically reward customers and immerse them in experiences that enhance each visit. These remarkable experiences are what build brand loyalty and advocacy, and ultimately increase the lifetime value of each customer. Adored has been downloaded over 10,000 times and is active at dozens of locations ranging from ski resorts and arenas to cafes and bars. The company is based in Manchester, NH. Prior to founding Adored, Cory was the Chief Technologist and CTO at Dyn the Internet Performance company headquartered in Manchester, NH powering more than 100 of the Alexa 1000 web sites (the 1000 largest web sites in the world). Over his six year tenure at Dyn, Cory led product, engineering, technical operations and evangelism, and helped scale the company to more than 400 global employees with offices in the US, UK and Australia. Outside of Adored, Cory serves as an advisor to Dyn, Evergage, Carvoyant, JumpCloud and Marlin Mobile, and shares his expertise on product development, user experience, and scalable architecture on great publications like GigaOm, PandoDaily, Wired, and DevOps.com. He was the founding investor of Trendslide, a SaaS Business Intelligence company (acquired in 2013), as well as a founding investor in the NH TechOut $500k startup competition. In the community, Cory serves on the Board of Trustees for the Mount Washington Observatory, and the Board of Advisors for the leadership development community Intelligent.ly, the Entrepreneurs Foundation of NH, and is a frequent mentor at TechStars Boston, the Harvard iLab, MIT and WPI. Cory lives in Bedford, NH with his wife Jessica and three children.
