Mahmoud Arram

He is the co-founder and CTO of TriggerMail; an ecommerce marketing automation company. He had once built the multi-channel user notifications infrastructure -including email- for Sponty, Gameday Tycoon, LoopIt, Canv.as and Moda Operandi. Previously, He led the engineering team at Moda Operandi, the premiere luxury fashion ecommerce retailer. He was responsible for building the email infrastructure, revenue and reporting systems, multi-currency order calculators and on-site merchandising tools. Prior to M`O, He was a software architect at Allurent designing merchandisable shopping experiences for online retailers. He was on the team that lead the transition to a SAAS business and implemented Allurent's radically simple integration strategy. While on leave from Allurent, He co-founded Gameday Tycoon, a fantasy sports game that runs on Facebook, as well as Sponty which helped people discover indy music events. In a previous life, He worked on a heart monitoring device at Guidant. At 22 He was the youngest person to receive the highest technical award among 3000 engineers. He graduated in 2004 with dual degrees in computer engineering and electrical engineering from Iowa State University on a full merit scholarship. He also tried to teach computers how to read cursive Arabic handwriting at MIT.
