Merritt Hummer

Merritt joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2018 as a Partner. She focuses on growth equity investments in the fintech and proptech sectors. Merritt is involved in all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio company suBeforerior to joining Bain Capital Ventures, Merritt was a growth equity investor at Goldman Sachs. Merritt began her career as a management consultant at Bain & Company in New York. Merritt is a CFA charter holder, and she graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Science in engineering, and from Harvard Business School, where she was a Baker Scholar.
