Gerard Eldering

Gerard Eldering is Founder and President of InnovateTech Ventures, and is an experienced entrepreneur and speakers, and a nationally recognized authority on technology transfer venture creation. InnovateTech Ventures is a venture creation firm focused on the commercialization of university technologies through startup company formation. Prior to founding InnovateTech, he founded and served as Director of the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) at The MITRE Corporation. During his eight year tenure in the MITRE TTO he completed more than 150 licenses and facilitated the creation of four startups. Gerard holds a B.A. in Physics, an M.B.A. and is a registered patent agent. He serves on the Board of James Madison Innovations, Inc and is a frequent speaker and moderator for organizations including the Association of University Technology Managers and Technology Transfer Tactics. Gerard is dedicated to enabling more effective commercialization of university inventions through the creation of professionally managed and funded startup companies. He has been working in the technology transfer community for more than a decade and is a passionate supporter of technology transfer venture creation.
