Entrepreneurial leader with experience in international growth, product management, venture capital, and operations for consumer-facing technology companies. Currently part of the startup team at Nextdoor, a venture funded social network for neighborhoods. At Nextdoor, Luis holds a broad role across business operations that includes partnership marketing and development, and international expansion. Google career from 2005 to 2013: one of the first members of the investment group at Google Ventures, Google's $300M/year venture capital arm. Also a product manager at YouTube, where he helped lead the company's first internationalization and localization. Luis' first role at Google was to help expand the organization's footprint outside the U.S., and refine its worldwide localization business operations. Luis holds multiple graduate degrees in engineering from Stanford, and an MBA from Harvard. He earned his undergraduate degree magna cum laude in mechanical engineering from Princeton.
