Ed Michael

Ed co-founded LionBird following a 25-year career at Abbott Laboratories where he served as Executive Vice President of Diagnostic Products, overseeing over $4B in revenues and 13,000 employees. Previously he held various commercial and operational leadership positions in the company. Ed served on the Board of Directors at Cook County Health and Hospitals System from 2012-2013, and currently serves on the Boards of NeuMoDx, a molecular diagnostics company, and several LionBird portfolio companies. He earned his BA in politics and government and a juris doctorate from Indiana University in Bloomington
