Abul Khayer

Abul Khayer is a social entrepreneur who co-founded several startups in Bangladesh. He's currently the CTO of Search English, an award winning English learning platform for ordinary people and the largest online English learning platform in Bangladesh. He's a professional web developer and later on became an entrepreneur. His first initiative was a lifestyle e-commerce company ShopyBuzz, founded in 2014. Later one He founded a Bangla news portal call ePotrika.com in 2015. Both the initiative was straight failure. In late 2015, he co-founded Encouragebd, a community based platform to encourage and motivate frustrated people and guiding them to right career. Even though it was appreciated by many of its users but it wasn't also a profitable venture. In the early 2016, he co-founded e-Commerce World, a community to discuss on e-Commurce ecosystem and learning business through collaboration. It closed in 7 months and he co-founded his first successful startup Search English with the same co-founders of e-Commerce World. People from all around the world loved the idea of Search English from the very early days. It's now have more than 1.5 million users and growing so fast. During the journey of Search English, in March 2017, he found a proprietorship web development agency called Biggestech which is still in operation and have a good traction every month. 2018 is the most successful year for Search English. It won several international awards and recognition for its social and economic impact. Search English raised grant from Startup Bangladesh and seed fund from GP Accelerator, the two top startup acceleration programs in the country.
