Baruch Harris

Baruch brings over 15 years experience in the life sciences to his role as Venture Partner. Most recently, Baruch was Chief Business Officer at Enlight Biosciences, a unique venture creation firm established in partnership with leading global pharmaceutical companies. At Enlight, Baruch was involved in the founding of three life sciences companies, where his responsibilities included interim executive management, business development and day-to-day operations; he also managed relationships with Enlight's 7 pharmaceutical company partners and business operations for Enlight itself. Prior to joining Enlight, Dr. Harris was Executive Director and Head of Business Strategy and Operations for Novartis Biologics; Senior Manager in Novartis Pharma AG's strategic planning group; and an Engagement Manager for McKinsey & Company's healthcare practice, where he advised clients across the healthcare spectrum including biotech / pharma, hospitals & health systems, and private equity. Dr. Harris received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from the University of California, San Francisco, where he was a Howard Hughes Predoctoral Fellow, and his Sc.B. in Biophysics from Brown University with Honors, magna cum laude, where he was initiated into Sigma Xi.
