Rob Chandra

Rob Chandra is a general partner with Avid Park Ventures, a San Francisco based venture capital firm. The Avid Park team's current or prior investments include: Alibaba (IPO), Andela, AuptiX, CrowdStrike, Dropbox, Fisdom, Kabam (Netmarble Games), Lending Club (IPO), Lyft, Magnacom (Broadcom), MongoDB (IPO), Nutanix (IPO), ServiceMax (GE), Slack, Snap (IPO), Sprinklr, Twitter (IPO), Uber, WeTravel, and Xendit. Prior to founding Avid Park, Chandra was a managing partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, where he served on the firm’s investment and management committees. Since entering the venture capital industry in 1996, Chandra has been involved with more than 25 early-stage investments that have gone public or been acquired by other public companies. He has been recognized on the Forbes Midas list of the top 100 venture capitalists five different times over his career. Chandra teaches courses on entrepreneurship and venture capital at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business where he is a two time recipient of the Earl F. Cheit Outstanding Teaching Award. He is currently the Board Chair of the UC Berkeley Endowment and also the Board Chair of Menlo School's Board of Trustees. Chandra holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from University of California at Berkeley.
