Meir is a Partner at MoreVC and his investment activities are focused on energy technology, cyber security, and smart grid technologies. He currently represents the firm on the boards of Claroty, Lumos Global, Grid4C and oversees ICV's investment in Gro Intelligence. Previously Meir served as CFO of Sentry Technology Group Inc., an Israeli-US startup. From 2000 to 2004, he worked at SG Cowen, a leading technology and healthcare investment bank, initially as an investment banker working on public and private equity offerings and M&A transactions, and subsequently as a Vice President and research analyst covering defense and industrial technology companies. Meir began his venture capital career in the mid 1990's, working together with Glen Schwaber at Jerusalem Global Ltd., an Israeli merchant bank and consulting practice that was a leading player in the early days of Israel's venture industry. He led the angel financing of QXL Ltd., an investment which generated the highest IRR in the firm's history. He also led - together with Glen - the structuring of a joint venture between Jerusalem Global and CDC, Taiwan's largest investment bank. Meir holds a B.A., from Columbia College in Political Science and East Asian Studies. Meir also served as an officer in one of the elite technology units of the Israeli Defense Forces.
