Meghan is a Partner at Amplifyher Ventures, where she launched and built the firm's operations and investment strategy. Her 40 deals makeup a portfolio that now outperforms top-quartile benchmarks. Prior, Meghan built the Cornell alumni investment firm Red Bear Angels. There, she raised, formed and led 25+ investments into such companies as Datalogue [acq. Nike], Lyft [NASDAQ: LYFT] and Trumid [BlackRock, TPG]. She began her venture capital work with Foundation Capital and Bowery Capital. Previously a marketing specialist, Meghan managed public relations for Skype and Foursquare, before becoming a director at the leading post-dot-com media company, StyleCaster Media Group [acq. She Knows Media]. A three-time United Nations speaker, Meghan is also a contributor for TechCrunch and Forbes and guest lecturer at Columbia University. She has appeared in FT, New York Magazine, and various broadcast interviews. Meghan co-chairs the Next Generation board of Facing History, an education nonprofit that furthers diversity and inclusion, and has sat on the Lincoln Center Young Patrons board for nine years. Meghan received her B.S. in Fiber Science from Cornell University and M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
