Sanjeev Singhal

Sanjeev is a serial technology entrepreneur in having setup organizations in Digital Media and Entertainment, Retail/e-Commerce and Enterprise Technology with over 20 years of experience in across diversified business domains. He is an accomplished Technology adopter in setting up some of very large internet driven businesses in the country. He had also setup his maiden entrepreneurial venture in e-Commerce business. In his last stint he was founder member and CTO of BIGFlix.com - A group company of Reliance. Prior to Reliance, Sanjeev was core group member of India largest media portal Indiatimes.com (Internet initiative of India's largest media house & publishers of The Times of India). He had architected and setup technology platform for e-Commerce business comprising of Indiatimes Shopping, Auctions, Travel, Subscription, Domain services, Astrology, Readers Offers and other innovative business models delivered over internet and mobile.He has been a founding member of US based IT services company- Informica Inc, specialized in developing e-commerce websites and product development. Sanjeev started the development center in India and grew 100 people strong software engineers and project managers working for clients from India and US.He is a post-graduate in Computer Applications and Business Management. In early part of his career, Sanjeev worked with the Indian Express Group of publications and led the groups IT initiatives across 17 branches creating in-house IT team and providing customized solutions for business. He also led the implementation of survey conducted by newspapers for General Elections where responses were received in millions over a period of few weeks.
