Jeanne Carey

As Director of Special Projects, Jeanne Carey ensures compliance and efficiency of several initiatives at Ryan Health, a federally qualified health center in New York City. She is responsible for internal and external coordination of the 340B drug pricing program, which enables eligible health care organizations to stretch federal resources to provide more comprehensive services for vulnerable patient populations. She serves as an institutional compliance expert on the 340B program and analyzes utilization of the program to identify ways to compliantly use the program to its fullest extent. She also serves as a liaison with managed care organizations. Her responsibilities include maintaining relationships with managed care organizations, analyzing data regarding utilization, and overseeing attribution efforts. Additionally, she works closely with the Information Technology Department to develop best clinical practices using the electronic medical record. Her responsibilities include educating providers regarding optimal use of the electronic medical record.
