Ben Schrauwen

Benjamin Schrauwen is the CEO and Co-Founder Director of Oqton. He's also the Product Development for Autodesk’s Spark 3D printing platform, Tinkercad, 123D, and Project Ignite. He holds a Master in Computer Science and Engineering, a PhD in Machine Learning, and was a research professor in Machine Learning and Robotics at Belgium’s Gent University. Schrauwen’s research ranged from quadruped robotics, brain computer interfaces, speech/image recognition, to financial prediction models; co-authoring more than 200 publications. Next to academia, he was co-founder of online technology companies Mollom and circuits.io. When not developing an open and connected additive manufacturing platform, he enjoys rock climbing, paragliding and running very long distances.
