Matt is the Chief Technology Officer at FTD, LLC where he oversees the technology and customer service divisions. He is also co-founder and partner at Truth & Systems. Before co-founding Truth & Systems, Matt Powell was Global Chief Technology Officer at Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal (KBS), where he worked on marketing and technology for companies such as Apple, BMW, Google, Harman, Puma, Stanley Black & Decker and TE Connectivity. He was co-President of the agency and part of the leadership team that built it to 900 people. Matt lead the design and building of the BMWUSA.com website that was named no. 1 in the category by JD Power. He and his team re-imagined the PUMA retail experience with the PUMA JoyPad and The PUMA Factory sneaker customization experience; they helped digitize the HomeGoods experience with The Goods app; and they transformed live traffic on NYC’s 6th Avenue into BMW electric concept vehicles with the iWindow to the Near Future. Matt co-launched Boston-based e-commerce boutique, MNET, where he led client relationships with Gillette, Oral-B, Hasbro, Baskin-Robbins, and Dunkin’ Donuts. An entrepreneur by background, Matt also co-founded Second Button, a web-based menswear haberdasher, and Ergo, a healthcare technology company.
