A San Francisco native, Danny spent 20+ years in technology, holding executive roles at Google and Microsoft. At Google, he ran business development and strategic partnerships for products like Google Search, Google Assistant, Google Research, Chrome/Web Platform (Accelerated Mobile Pages and Progressive Web Apps), Google+, Google Identity and Sign-In, Firebase, and other products. He successfully sold Meebo, a Sequoia Capital-backed Web 2.0 startup, to Google in 2012. At Microsoft, he led critical product lines for Microsoft Teams. Danny is now the Managing General Partner for HawkTower, an investment fund focused on backing entrepreneurs and companies in Central California, an area with significant innovation and commercialization potential, focusing on the hub of the Monterey Bay Area. HawkTower is a new member organization of MBEP and DART. Founding HawkTower allows him to concentrate on his lifelong passion for developing local value and community building. An alum of the Stanford Executive Program and University of California at Davis. Danny, his wife Leslie, their two children, and puppy, River, live in Carmel Valley. Danny is the Vice President of the Board of Trustees for Congregation Beth Israel in Carmel. He is Secretary of the Board of Directors for Camp Ramah in Northern California. He sits on the Flanders Mansion Restoration Committee and the Stevenson School Campaign Committee. He also founded the CreativeMornings lecture series on the Monterey Peninsula.
