Alex Gruzen

With a particular emphasis on consumer markets, Gruzen has built global teams and industry-leading businesses throughout his career, including growth through mergers and acquisitions. Gruzen most recently served as senior vice president of the Consumer and Small Business Product Group at Dell. Gruzen joined Dell in 2004 from Hewlett-Packard, where he was the senior vice president and general manager of the Mobile Computing Global Business Unit. Previously, he held several leadership positions at Compaq and Sony, including postings in Singapore and Japan, spanning all functions from sales & marketing to product development to operations and procurement. Gruzen holds BS and MS degrees in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He also serves on the advisory boards of BazaarVoice and Macheen.
