Andreas von Richter

Prior to LBBW, Andreas was the managing director for EcoMobility Ventures at Idinvest Partners for two years. The fund focused on investments within transportation sectors and was financed by SNCF, Total, Air Liquide, Michelin and Orange. During his tenure, Ouicar was sold to SNCF. Before that, Andreas founded and managed the European and Israeli venture capital operations for GE Capital from 2008 till 2014. His investments included Solarage (NASDAQ: SEDG) and EMEFCY (ASX:EMC). Previously he was part of the leadership team of GE’s European R&D Centre, focusing on governmental funding and jointly developing research projects with GE customers in the energy, healthcare and inspection sectors. Andreas started his career in 1999 at Airbus and switched in 2000 to OHB System AG, leading the development of instruments for manned and unmanned space missions for four years. Andreas holds a Masters Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Delft and a MBA from INSEAD. He is a native German speaker and is fluent in English, French and Dutch.
