With more than 20 years of sales, business development and operations experience, Scott Sorochak shapes the strategic direction of sales operations at Simply Hired. A veteran in the consumer internet, mobile and social gaming industries, he joined Simply Hired from Foundation Capital, where he served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence focused on sourcing investment opportunities. Prior, he held a number of executive positions at companies including, social gaming start-up Rivet Games, social networking community BookCrossing and online marketing firm Adteractive, where under his leadership the company’s revenue doubled. In addition, Scott previously held executive positions at CaseCentral, Propel Software, Jarna Software, Excite@Home, Netcom, and Knight-Ridder Dialog Information Services. He has raised more than $50 million in private and debt equity and is actively involved in start-up mentorship programs.
