Jarvis Jones is a senior attorney with significant multi-state regulatory compliance experience. He has worked at Fortune 200 companies in the highly regulated industries of insurance and healthcare. Jones also has a strong corporate legal and a commercial defense litigation background from private practice. Above all, Jarvis is a strong and experienced leader with the capacity to effect change, inspire confidence, innovate, and strategize for the future. As Senior Regulatory Affairs Counsel, Jones was primarily responsible for regulatory administrative lobbying. Jones advised senior management business clients on individual states' legal and regulatory compliance requirements and issues. His primary duties required him to identify and resolve complex rates, rules, and regulatory compliance and state audit issues that limited his business unit clients’ ability to achieve their financial objectives. Jarvis Jones served as regulatory affairs counsel in some of his employer’s most challenging regulatory environments including New York and Arizona. Lauded by his senior management clients in resolving states’ regulatory compliance and audit issues, Jones successfully resolved in certain states many of the business units’ most challenging regulatory and legal compliance issues that had plagued the organization for the last three to five years. Once assigned these states, Jones successfully mediated, negotiated and resolved, in less than twelve months, most of the state-specific regulatory compliance issues which had previously prevented or limited his clients’ ability to obtain new rate increases and to write new business in those states.
