Mahmoud Adi

Mahmoud is a Founding Partner of Shorooq and spearheads the firm along with Partners Shane Shin and Kunal Savjani. Mahmoud led the creation and setup of Hub71, a global tech ecosystem based in Abu Dhabi. Mahmoud spent over 10 years at Mubadala Investment Company, Abu Dhabi’s Government sovereign wealth fund covering multiple sectors such as semiconductor, pharma and medtech and metals and mining. Mahmoud built his career as an investment professional, engineer and entrepreneur. He also co-founded Pure Harvest Smart Farms, a regional innovator in sustainable agriculture focused on the production of fresh produce year-around in the challenging climates of the Arab Gulf region. Mahmoud holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and B.S in Mechanical Engineering from the Petroleum Institute in Abu Dhabi.
