Peter Ekelund

Peter Ekelund has been a pioneer and entrepreneur in on-demand entertainment and telecommunications for over twenty-five years. He is the founder or co-founder of several successful and highly innovative companies including Parsifal Entertainment, of which he is CEO and Chairman, HBO Nordic, responsible for bringing HBOs online service to Scandinavia, and Bredbandsbolaget, one of Sweden’s first high speed Internet Service Providers and today one of it’s largest, owned by Telenor. As a champion of digital media and start-ups, he has been directly involved in the launch of successful and diverse companies from Diino cloud storage, an emerging consumer technology company, to UrhoTV, a sports streaming service, to ForestLight, a 3D production company. He also led and consulted on projects for some of the world’s largest telecommunications companies, which introduced digital TV to markets in Europe and Asia.
