Thasunda Duckett

Thasunda Brown Duckett is the CEO of Chase Consumer Banking. She oversees a banking network with more than $800 billion in deposits and investments, 5,000 branches, 16,000 ATMs, and 48,000 branch employees serving 24 million households nationwide. Under Duckett’s leadership, Chase has undergone a digital and physical transformation that contributed to its ranking as No. 1 in customer satisfaction by JD Power, No. 1 for its mobile app, and the No. 1 most visited online portal among US retail banks. Her team manages Chase’s first major branch expansion in 10 years, which will add 400 branches in 15 to 20 new markets. Building on her passion for financial inclusion and empowerment, Duckett spearheaded Chase’s National Savings campaign. She is the executive sponsor of Chase’s Advancing Black Pathways program, aimed at helping black Americans achieve economic success. Previously, she was the CEO of Chase Auto Finance and the national retail sales executive for Chase Mortgage Banking. Duckett has been named one of the Most Powerful Women in Banking by American Banker, one of 100 Leading Women by Automotive News, one of the Most Powerful Women in Corporate America by Black Enterprise, and among the Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America by Savoy Magazine. She is a founding member of Chase’s Women on the Move initiative and is the executive sponsor of the firm’s Fellowship Initiative, which offers young men of color academic and social support to help achieve personal and professional success. Duckett founded the Otis and Rosie Brown Foundation in honor of her parents. She also sits on the board of the Children’s Learning Center of Fairfield County. Duckett is from Texas and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from the University of Houston and an MBA from Baylor University. She lives in Connecticut with her husband and four children.
