Vineet is Founder and CEO of Junction Education, a market leading adaptive courseware-as-a-service platform that is enabling a broad range of publishers and content providers to build and deliver easy-to-use, compelling, data-driven, digital learning experiences on any device. Until March 2013, Vineet was SVP of Strategy and Corporate Development at McGraw-Hill Education. Vineet joined the executive team in 2006 and led many aspects of the company's digital transformation from crafting the original product strategy for K-12 formative assessment to blueprinting a digital unit, and later incubating institutional sales, in higher education. He drove the acquisitions of Tegrity and Key Curriculum and equity investments in Inkling, Area9 and HotChalk. Product and sales efforts he incubated or generate $100+MM in annual revenue. In 2011, he was asked to drive the separation and sale of McGraw-Hill Education resulting in the sale of the business to Apollo Global for $2.4B. A co-author of the US Digital Textbook Playbook and a 2013 Power Player in Digital Media, Vineet is a recognized thought leader on the digital transformation of K-12, higher / college and professional education and is often quoted by major print, broadcast and online media. He has spoken at events including CES, GigaOm Mobilize, Digital Hollywood, Social Media Week and many SIIA events where he also served on the Board. Earlier, he was with Booz Allen Hamilton (now Booz & Co) and part of the leadership team for the health services practice. Before that, he served in a variety of roles at JPMorganChase spanning product development, marketing, credit risk and information systems management.
