Yossi Levi is the Founder and CEO of gettacar. Yossi’s passion lies in leveraging the immense benefits of technology to improve the overall car buying & ownership experience for consumers. In his role as CEO, Yossi defines the vision for growth within the company, nurtures the team and leads company fundraising efforts. Yossi grew up in the automotive industry, working at his father’s dealership from the age of 14. While working full time at Danis Auto, Yossi simultaneously pursued his Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Temple University. Yossi is a first-generation college student and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Under his leadership, Danis Auto grew from $3M in sales to over $30M over a three and a half year period without any outside capital infusion. In 2018, Yossi shifted his focus towards a new venture: online car buying. Yossi founded gettacar in an effort to bring desperately needed change to the way people buy and own cars. gettacar is a Philadelphia based direct-to-your-door, online platform that enables users to trade, finance, and buy used cars. Since inception, gettacar has grown at a 270% CAGR. gettacar has expanded beyond the Philadelphia region and currently serves the majority of the East Coast, ranging from New York to Virginia. The company has offices in Philadelphia and Tel Aviv. Yossi has led three separate rounds of funding for gettacar and has raised over $48 million dollars of total equity. Notable investors in gettacar include 3L Capital, Luxor Capital, eVentures and Torch Capital. As gettacar continues to grow, Yossi believes in developing the next generation of leaders from within. He is an empathetic and involved CEO, and plays an active role in the recruitment of top talent to support the company’s growth objectives. Yossi is passionate about leading with Radical Candor. Yossi consistently challenges the status quo, and has used this as a driving force is his success. He remains actively involved in the Temple University Fox Business School community, where he is a member of the Fox Business Leaders Network.
