Michael J. Maples, Sr., also known as Mike, serves as an Ambassador on certain strategic relationships and internal management initiatives at Microsoft. Michael Maples served as an Executive Vice President of Worldwide Products Group at Microsoft Corporation. He served as a Consultant and Advisor to Microsoft. He served as the President of the Microsoft Corporation. He served several positions with Microsoft, where he served as an Executive Vice President of Worldwide Products and a Member of the office of the President. He is a highly accomplished Senior Executive with over 40 years experience in the computer industry. He retired from Microsoft Corporation where he reported directly to Bill Gates. He was responsible for all product development and product marketing activities at Microsoft during his tenure. Prior to Microsoft, he worked for International Business Machines Corporation for 23 years where he served as a Director of Software Strategy. He has been the Chairman of CMIT Solutions, Inc. and also has been its Director. He served as the Chairman of Multimedia Games Holding Company, Inc. Michael Maples has been a Director of BlueSpace Software Corporation and Hyper9, Inc. He serves as a Director of Emergent Technologies, Inc. and has been its Member of Advisory Board. He serves on the boards of PSW Technologies; 30 Second Software, Inc., Computer Moms International; and Newisys, Inc. He has been an Independent Director of Q2ebanking, Inc.
