Working with a large number of independent advisors on strategic opportunities around the globe, with a focus on special situations and structured capital solutions, the firm focuses on generating long term value creation for their clients. Håkan developed his entrepreneurial spirit from a young age and over the course of a long career in banking and finance. Between 2002 and 2015, Håkan Wohlin occupied a range of senior positions at Deutsche Bank: most recently, as Global Head of Debt Origination, where he presided over the world’s largest debt underwriting franchise. During that time, the business generated and managed thousands of complex deals and transactions for corporates, financials and public sector clients across many different jurisdictions and currencies, including ground-breaking sovereign debt exchanges. At the same time, he cultivated productive relationships with key decision makers and policy makers across the private and public sectors. Formerly, Håkan acted as Deutsche Bank’s Head of European Capital Markets Origination, in which position he substantially grew revenue and new product penetration with a client base consisting of global corporations, financial institutions, private equity, national governments and public sector entities. Håkan Wohlin’s advisory assignments include the New York based family investment office Archegos Capital Management LP, and Incred Capital, a financial services firm based in Mumbai, India. Håkan is a liaison officer to the Archegos supported Grace & Mercy Foundation, which supports the poor and oppressed, and helps people learn, grow, and serve.
