Armando Vera Carvajal

Armando Vera Carvajal is the Co-Founder & CEO @ Hangtight. He is a 2x startup founder focused on consumer AI social tech. Armando is a first-gen Mexican immigrant, global adventurer, visual creative, product designer, tech visionary, and is on a mission to help humanity heal. His past leadership experience includes building an online accelerator program from 0-1, scaling its team of 5 employees to 200 worldwide, and creating a global product that generated $2.5M MRR whilst serving 5,000+ startups worldwide. Armando also served as a Research Manager for Hedge Funds at GLG. He is an active mentor to startups in the consumer tech, AI, and mobile sectors. Armando studied international relations as well as corporate communication at the University of Texas at Austin, along with foreign exchanges at Sciences Po Paris and the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. He is based in Austin, TX and is fluent in English, Spanish, French, and comfortable with Italian.
