Marco Janeczek is a Head Of Corporate Development at Brokrete. Marco Janeczek has co-founded several companies in Canada and Italy. He has over 10 years of Canadian and European experience in the internet industry. Marco is currently involved in CDET a non profit organizations that prepares startups and hatchbrands a seed stage fund out of Ottawa. hatchbrands investments include among others Yostro (acquired by Dataware), Zoidu (acquired by Stellar Learning), Ooploo and Roomish. Marco serves as an advisor to Mgestyk, Edgewater Wireless (TSXV:YFI), LiveQoS, Banzai Group (Italy). Marco has previous experience from Italy having been involved in H-FARM Ventures, an incubator and later on a venture fund, as Chief Strategy Officer. H-FARM investments among others include H-art (acquired by WPP), H-Care (acquired by Gruppo Pat), Log607 (acquired by RCS Group), LogoPro (acquired by Orgraf), DomainsIncome (assets acquired by PagineSi, BusinessFinder), Zooppa, Wishpot (acquired by Lockerz), bigrock, H-umus, and many others. Marco continues to advise H-FARM in finding strategic partners and acquirers for some of the early stage portfolio companies. Marco served as the CEO of several startup companies including Zooppa, DomainsIncome, Yostro, Zoidu and as VP Sales of Decisyon out of Italy. Marco passion is building companies with entrepreneurs, and hence he advises and serves on a number of privately and publicly listed companies as advisor and board member.
